Bruce is passionate about educating and treating patients to enable them to keep their teeth for life, not just patching what has broken but also treating the cause of the problem, thus restoring patients to dental health. He has made this focus the centre of the Care Dental Implant Clinic’s ethos.
Bruce graduated from Dundee in 1990. He set up Care Dental, Care Dental Implant Clinic and Signature Ceramics, now owned by Portman Health Care. Bruce has worked in implant dentistry since 1995 and has placed approximately 9000 implants. One of his key dental interests is in coaching and mentoring referring colleagues. The clinic`s laboratory, Signature Ceramics has fully embraced the digital workflow and supports the clinics work.
His own field of expertise is within implant dentistry and as part of his continuing professional studies, he has completed his postgraduate diploma with the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Bruce’s career spans 31 years and he is more convinced than ever of how amazing a career in dentistry can be. His background is Scottish general practice, his work encompasses advanced implant and restorative care, digital workflows and post graduate training and mentoring.
When Bruce has nothing else to do, he will occasionally be found lecturing with the International Team of Implantology and coaching his referring dentists, through his in-house mentoring programme. When he is really kicking his heels, you may see him on his bike cycling the Crieff countryside.

Graeme is our implant restorative clinician. He joined the team after graduating from Dundee University in 2007.
Since then he has devoted much of his time to furthering his expertise in Restorative and Implant Dentistry. This includes a 1-year certificate course with the British Academy of Restorative Dentistry (BARD) in 2010, going on to pass the certificate examination in 2011. He has also competed a 2-year Advanced Restorative and Implant Dentistry Course in 2014-2015.
Graeme has a special interest in occlusion (the mechanics of the jaw and teeth) and the treatment of bruxism (tooth grinding) – being a sufferer of this himself. This includes the treatment of advanced tooth wear and occlusal rehabilitation.
He also shows a flair for cosmetic dentistry and works in partnership with our on-site Dental Laboratory, Signature Ceramics team of dental technicians. This facility enables us to provide truly bespoke restorations and ensure our patients’ expectations are always met.
When he is not working in the practice or on training courses Graeme likes to keep active. He can be found enjoying a walk with his two dogs, on his bike training for the next sportive, planning which Munro to tackle next or catching up with friends on the golf course.

Dr Hay graduated from Glasgow University in 2002 and has worked continuously at his practice for the last 12 years gaining experience in a wide range of treatments.
He has a keen interest in implant dentistry, advanced restorative/cosmetic dentistry and adult orthodontics. He is currently working towards a qualification in implant dentistry and participates in the Care Dental Implant Clinic Scholarship programme, where he places and restores dental implants on a regular basis.
Dr Hay has an understanding, calm approach and takes pride in producing work to a very high standard. Outside of work his interests are cycling, cooking and enjoying time with his wife and young daughter.

Daniel received his undergraduate dental degree from Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary in 2006. After graduation Daniel completed a 3-year full-time residency in Operative Dentistry and Prosthodontics. Daniel’s thirst for knowledge led him to a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Implantology and Dental Surgery at the International Medical College, University of Muenster in Germany. He is a registered dentist in the UK, Ireland, and Hungary.
As a private practice associate and visiting implant surgeon his practice is limited to surgical and restorative implant treatments, cosmetic surgical and aesthetic restorative procedures.
Daniel first moved to Edinburgh in 2009. Since 2012 he is only practicing in private practices.
His eye for details and passion for excellence in dentistry is well known amongst his colleagues and he regularly treat patients needing advanced rehabilitation on referral basis.
Daniel brings a strong sense of purpose and responsibility including a voice as a mentor. As a team player he likes bringing work colleagues closer together through his workshops and and courses. He is a recognized speaker on the topics of dental implantology, bone and soft tissue management and dental photography.
Daniel’s passion is to work with his patients and referring colleagues closely to give back their patient’s smile and through that improve quality of their lives.
“I feel blessed to be able to help my patients realize their dental dream. So often we see life-changing transformations when patients self-esteem, confidence and overall well-being improves sometimes overnight. In a relatively short timeframe. My favourite part is the moment when we take our final photos with the patients. That really makes our day!”
Apart from work his young family keeping him busy to achieve a great work-life balance. Daniel likes espresso with no sugar. He likes outdoor activities like cycling, and sea kayaking. His favourite animals are dogs and polar bears.

Nadir graduated from Glasgow University in 1986 and after spending 7 years in General Dental Practice, he left general practice to pursue his first love , oral surgery. Since 1993, Nadir has worked in Maxillo Facial units in the South East of England managing complex facial trauma and facial deformity as well as setting up his own implant referral practice in 1997 in Colchester Essex.
After a 25 year career in full time oral surgery and implant dentistry based in the SE of England, Nadir has now relocated back to Scotland and works as a consultant oral surgeon at Borders General Hospital and as an oral surgeon and implantologist in private practice in Edinburgh.
He has lectured and taught hands on clinical skills to implant surgeons and oral surgeons and has been on the board of examiners for the MFDS exam at Glasgow and the Board of examiners for the Diploma in Implant dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh .
He is an accredited mentor for implant dentistry and has mentored many dentists in the surgical aspect of implant treatments. Nadir has extensive experience of the benefits of IV sedation in managing complex surgical cases and the benefits this has for patient management and the patient journey, making what can seem like a daunting process, be stress free and very easy to go through.
Nadir also has a second career as an Adventure sports photographer and works for a number of big brands creating their eye-catching brochures and on line content.
He is an ambassador for Ellis Brigham Mountain sports and also for F stop camera bags and Elinchrom light units. His book Extreme Scotland, a photographic journey through Scottish adventure sports is available from all good book stores and Amazon and his second book ‘Extreme Lakeland' is now available.
He is also channelling his musical energies and plays guitar in a MUSE tribute band in Edinburgh and also a QUEEN tribute, based in Edinburgh.

Sheona worked for several years in various NHS practices around the Glasgow area gaining a wide experience in treating patients with a broad spectrum of dental health requirements. Prior to joining the Care Dental team, she worked as the lead hygienist in a private dental clinic.
As part of the Care Dental hygiene team, she treats a wide spectrum of patients from those requiring routine hygiene maintenance therapy to those who require more advanced periodontal treatment.
As a mother of 3 sons, who are all heavily involved in sports, most of her time is dedicated to their hobbies at the moment. Any spare time she manages she enjoys walking and cooking.

Marina is a fully qualified implant nurse with many years of experience. She now manages the Care Dental, Signature Ceramics & our Implant Clinic. Her role is to manage us all - a difficult job!

Kirsty started her career in dentistry in 2006 and joined the clinic in 2017. Since then she has continued her training and worked as an Implant Nurse before moving into her current role as Deputy manager of the Implant Clinic. Kirsty works behind the scenes focusing on the day to day running and development of the clinic.
In her own time, Kirsty enjoys walking, reading and spending time with her family.

Cheryl joined the implant clinic in 2018 and has since undergone her qualification in radiography. Cheryl enjoys working within the implant clinic caring for patients and being part of a dynamic team. Outside of the clinic Cheryl enjoys keeping active and spending time with family and friends.

Katie joined us in August 2020 after relocating to the area. She has nursed for over 6 years and quickly became part of the Care Dental Family.

Kayleigh qualified in 2017 and now nurses for our outreach clinics in Aviemore and Portlethen with Dr Strickland.
Kayleigh loves to travel and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Rosalyn is one of our three-woman team who work in our front of house and has had many years of experience in customer service roles. She has a lovely cheery welcoming smile and will instantly put you at ease.
In her spare time Rosalyn can be found spending time with her family & horse riding
Lexy enjoys being part of our team within the Implant Clinic, a varied role giving her many opportunities to meet new people from around Scotland. She’s keen to build relationships with our patients and tries very hard to put them at ease happily chatting about the beautiful town of Crieff and her beloved black Labrador Poppy.
Heather joined Lexy and Rosalyn on reception 3 years ago and has become part of the Implant team. She effortlessly welcomes patients with a warm smile and is very helpful.
Heather enjoys discovering new walks around Crieff which has recently become her new home and binge-watching Netflix.
